Sirdsvaldis Miglasķēms is gonna be a true Latvian Failure!

So before we head in why Sirdsvaldis is going to be one I have to say that my week got increasingly more busy by the Thursday so even though I wanted to post ECN article again I just didn't have the time to do any prep on that so here I am, gonna talk about why my player is gonna be fairly bad and why it is gonna be equally cool to see him struggle. 

So, I have had 2 players before in VHL and I enjoyed both runs immensely - John Frostbeard was my first player and I honestly feel like this was my most fun experience in the league when it comes to having a player. I had a pleasure to be a part of Seattle Dynasty squad back in S67-S69 and win 2 Continental cups. I was also a part of Calgary Wranglers for about 15 or so games, played for DC Dragons and NY Americans but those runs didn't really do much for me. Marshall James Frostbeard or MJF was my 2nd players that I created out of necessity and plans to build Malmo squad from the ground up. It was a fun and amazing experience and still is. Marshall first played for Malmo and won their first ever Continental cup in S75, then he was moved to Seattle and got another Continental cup and now, now Marshall is a member of Davos, last season going strong so who knows, maybe another cup incoming

?  In any case, both of my previous players were fairly meta built and felt extremely generic and not unique at all even though I enjoyed them both heavily. So I decided to take a step back from all that Meta thing and build a Playmaking-Cantre-PowerForward. 

Sirdsvaldis is clearly going to be a true Latvian Failure as with that build he is destined to be a useless and weak player for any team that decides to draft him... Or will he be? Hmm, I want to test it, how much fun it is to build and have a player outside of expected norm and meta. I am still hoping that he will become a member of a squad that he will be able to help and maybe in the end win another Continental cup. I feel like those achievements are more than possible and in the end, Sirdsvaldis ir not going to be someone who's build is gonna change. John Frostbeard had changes made to his build, Marshall too so in the end it is vital for me to keep this build going well and strong. If not for anything else than for annoying Meta GMs. 

Truth to be told, as a GM I can understand the frustration of having a player of a weird build, heck, I have even been critical of other builds not too long ago but after putting my mind into this and understanding that the only thing that matters is the fun you get from being a member of VHL I changed my mind and actually want to see how freaky interesting can we get those builds!

Cool article, I liked how you divided it into easily understandable headings and it was easy to read. I would have liked some pictures, would have made the article seem more cool, but other then that it was fun to read and would recommend!
