What the Chicago Phoenix streak shows us

I have always wondered, what makes a good team in the VHL? Now, we might be getting closer and closer to that answer for someone like myself. The Chicago Phoenix have gotten on an 18-game winning streak and are now above other favorites such as Malmo, Moscow, HC Davos, and Calgary. With some lack of depth but a great top line of players, top pairing defense, the first line forward, and even a star goaltender. It is clear that one elite player does not mean the team will go off, instead what seems to be correct is multiple top end stars that can hold each other to a higher standard. Depth hasn’t been too important through some of these teams including Chicago, their second line is below what some would expect, but it is working out as they are on that 18-game winning streak. Will they hit 1^st place, or will the fortune end? How long could this streak last?
