DeeGoat 6
This is a little late as Trenton is currently playing in the VHLE, but this article will reflect back to the two seasons played through his career. To start things off, Rhys Trenton stands at a massive 6'8 and weighs 230 lbs. He is an 18 year old Polish native but took his talents to the SHL at 16 years old to play professional for the first time. Trenton first laced up the skates at the age of 2 and would spend lots of hours in his backyard ice rink with his father. Trenton started playing his first games at 6 years old and would instantly have to move up to play with older children. Ever since that first year Trenton would play against boys ages at least one or two years older. This is a key factor to his talent as he has always played good competition. Trenton's dream was always to play in the VHLM but spent one year in the SHL where he would play with the Malmo Redhawks before taking his talents to the VHLM. Rhys Trenton was late to join the VHLM in S78. Only playing a total of 46 games through his rookie season as he had some other personal/family issues to take care of before starting his professional hockey career again. Trenton found a home in Mexico City with the Kings and was a big help on the blueline putting up 12 goals and 43 points in his 46 games played. Trenton was learning the game again after his short break and was a wrecking ball hitter for his team having the fourth most hits in just over half the games played compared to his teammates. Fast forward to S79 and when Trenton really turned into the elite player he is. S79 was a full 72 game season for Trenton and where he really became a leader on his team. With 30 goals and 95 points, Trenton was the highest scoring defenceman on Mexico and the fourth highest on his team. He lead his team in Game Winning Goals and was one of the top guys in defensive stats for both hits and shots blocked. Between both seasons, Trenton doubled his point stats and turned his S78 -7 +/- rating to a +37. Trenton's efforts on the ice showed as he was soon drafted to the Vancouver Wolves with the first pick in the second round (17th overall). He would then shortly get drafted to the new VHLE league on the Cologne Express 37th overall. Trenton plans to spend a good chunk in Cologne in hopes to make his team champions one day.
