Sergey's Offseason Plans/Goals

 

The VHLM season is winding down real fast, meaning that the hockey offseason is right around the corner. Sergey has ambitious thoughts and hopes for how his first-ever VHL/VHLM offseason will go. Sergey hopes to venture back to his homeland of Russia, catching up with family and friends he hasn’t seen in person for almost a year, as a result of playing competitive hockey across the globe. But that’s not all Sergey hopes to accomplish during that time! He wants to get out and work at his craft, although his season was a surprising success. Sergey hopes to work on getting more agile on the ice, while working on his strength by lifting hunks of logs in Siberia. But this is all for one main thing, to get better and see improvements on the ice next year. Whatever league it may be, he wants to be even better than he was before. We know we’ll see a reformed and more well-rounded player in Preobrazhensky next year. Although his hockey future is uncertain, what is certain is his willingness to achieve and strive for greatness along the way. Tremendous work ethic by this young man, and we hope to see him doing what he does best next season!
