Telkster 550
Malmo has a tough series ahead as they split with Moscow 1-1 today. The Nighthawks kicked off the series with a big 5-2 win, that saw 5 of their players with multi point nights. Moscow pounced back with a 4-2 win in game 2, which is unsurprising considering how close many pundits have this series. Brendan Telker spoke with the media after game 2. “There as good of a team as any in the league, it’s gonna be a battle to the end. I hope we can make the push to the finals this year.” Telker has 10 points in 6 post season games. Kristoff Welch leads the team with 11 points in the playoffs. Meanwhile in the NA conference, Calgary is off to a surprising 2-0 lead on the league leaders of the regular season, the Vancouver Wolves. This could be good news for whoever comes out of the east. But then again, if someone can beat Vancouver in a best of 7, then there gonna be tough regardless.
