Welcome everyone,

the regular season AND the playoffs are over, so this is off-season time. The playoffs ended yesterday with the wins of the Stockholm Vikings over the Rome Gladiators. Rome started the playoffs against the best team in the VHLE, the Istanbul Red Wolves. After taking the lead 3-1 in the series, Rome lost the next two games to tie the series. It was 5-5 after four periods in the game 7 of the series between the Gladiators and the Red Wolves. Finally, Flynn Remy @jhatty8 scored his third of the game in second overtime to make it 6-5 and win the series 4-3 against the powerful Red Wolves. Rome was going to the final, but the series was not as long as the last one as they lost the series in four little games against the Vikings. For the second year in a row, Rome made the series, but they also made the final. Even though this was not the end they planned, Rome is proud of this season and they will still go for the Cup next year. A lot of players are going to leave the team to go play in the VHL next season, but a lot of players from the VHLM are going to join the team in the off-season.

Thanks everyone and see you next week and let's go Gladiators!!!
