I like the render placement and the text seems to fit in well. I would say the background is a bit too busy and it messes with the color palette. One thing you should try to do is get rid of all the NHL logos. It is better to swap them to your teams logos if you can but nothing is better than NHL branding. Overall, you are on the right path.
