Question 1: Were you expecting to make the team? Why or why not?

 

Question 2: What do you expect from this team going into the tournament?

 

Question 3: What team do you think will win the tournament this year?

 

Question 4: What are your plans after this offseason?

Question 5: Who's your pick for VHL rookie of the year in S82?

 

Question 6: If you were to start a podcast (not VHL related), what would it be called, and what would it be about?

Question 1: Were you expecting to make the team? Why or why not?

To be honest, no I didn't expect to make the team. I thought I would still be too low TPE. Was pleasantly surprised when I was asked!

 

Question 2: What do you expect from this team going into the tournament?

Hopefully we can make the medal round and come away with some hardware! That would be ideal

 

Question 3: What team do you think will win the tournament this year?

 Hopefully either us or Team Canada. It would be nice to take home the gold, but if we can't get the job done then I am routing for Canada. 

 

Question 4: What are your plans after this offseason?
Well the VHLM draft is coming up soon so I am preparing for that. I am hoping to goto a cool team with an active LR. It'll be one season in the M competing for the Founder's Cup and then hopefully off to the VHL!
 

Question 5: Who's your pick for VHL rookie of the year in S82?

My guess would be Vasile Lamb but I guess we will have to see. It's a good crop of rookies this upcoming season.

 

Question 6: If you were to start a podcast (not VHL related), what would it be called, and what would it be about?

I would probably do a fantasy sports podcast as I am pretty into fantasy hockey and fantasy baseball. Not sure what I would call it. I used to do a podcast in VHL called the VHL Roundtable but it was a ton of work and it got to a point where I didn't have time to do it every week anymore.

1. I was hoping that I will make it, as I was representing Europe in the S80 WJC and WCOH

2. To be at least as good as the last issue of Europe (Silver, no pressure)

3. Of course Europe, Canada is the dark horse here.

4. Getting fit for the VHL as I have big shoes to fill in after Tallinder left the Wranglers

5. I am being egoistic and say me (one can dream), but S81 was a strong draft year imo, so there are plenty of other viable candidates.

6. Since I am interested in history probably something in that line. For the name maybe 'The Clueless Historian'?
