Claimed:My sig

Don't have much practice, first real attempt at some tutorials I looked at.

Edit- Here's the tutorial, as I don't want a ban. I have another signature that looks similar to this that I had made before I tried this tutorial, I was actually a bit disappointed that despite using a small tutorial, this one didn't come out all that much better than what I had done on my own. Still put a good hour+ into it though.

Second edit- Jala looked at it on his computer and for some reason, you can't see the green at all- it's just totally dark. If this is the case for any judges, please let me know so I can try to fix it.

Effort: 2/2 - I can definitely relate to how tough it is to start out making sigs. Nice work, and keep it up. I recommend posting your sigs in the general graphics forum before posting for grading to get more feedback from members.

Look: 2/3 - The background is actually pretty cool, but a few things stand out as things you could improve on. First, try to keep the render a bit larger. Usually only the torso is show (example here: http://i.imgur.com/wjEjo8D.png ). This ensures that more detail is kept and the focal point is stronger. Next thing is your text. Try to keep it closer together, and try to keep it simple. Start out with simple fonts and learn how to manipulate the area around them, instead of relying on a fancy font (example here: http://i.imgur.com/gtYnOkJ.png ). He used a very simple font, but it looks really cool.

Aside from that, it's a great first effort. Keep at it and you'll show huge improvements in no time. PM me or anyone whose work you like and I'm sure you'll learn quickly.

Creativity: 1/1 - Yes sir, keep it up!

Effort: 2/2 - Text, stock work, coloring it's a valiant first effort, better than my first

Look: 2/3 - Jack pretty well nailed it. Tutorials on lighting, blending, those types of things are available in abundance. Just keep at it and you'll improve. I do recommend a simple font and closer together, overlapping the render a bit.

Creativity: 1/1 - Sure
