With another VHLM Dispersal Draft in the books, there were some very clear winners that emerged from the draft this past Monday. While some teams prioritized on building for the long-tern future, it was very clear that the Houston Bulls are entering Season 82 with a  "win-now" mentality. The Bulls started off their draft with the first overall pick. At number one they selected Swedish phenom Scotty Sundin. We saw a glimpse of what Sundin was capable last season when he came over from Europe to play for the San Diego Marlins. Needless to say, the Houston management was impressed with what they saw. This will be their number one center for this coming season.

From there, the Bulls' focus shifted to the blueline where they drafted a pair of incredible defensive talents. With picks 6 and 8, the Bulls went with AirRig GoodBrandSun and Hammer Voss. These two big burly slabs of meat should make for a formidable 1-2 punch on defense. In a team press conference following the draft, Hammer Voss requested the two d-men be referred to the Towers of Power for the remainder of their time in Houston. The Bulls weren't done there though, as they went a drafted Phoebe Bridgers, a shifty winger that should compliment Sundin nicely. In total, the Bulls made ten draft picks to fill out their roster for the coming season. Prognosticators have the Bulls and the Philadelphia Reapers as the main favourites to win the Founder's Cup this season. The puck drops Tuesday so be sure not to miss the action!
