So we have 22 competitors right now, and they are: - Streetlight - Munk - boubabi - Koradek - Beketov - Frank - 8Ovechkin8 - MÉTIS - Muffins - eQ. - Mr.Baller - lightning25 - CoachReilly - fueledbyramen - iPL - 701 - Jamie - Moholt - Jackim - IR - James - Bushito Obviously, having 22 competitors makes things kind of difficult. No simple single elimination tournament to turn to. So we're gonna do things a little differently. In each round, we will set up a poll with all of the sigs submitted and people vote on whichever ones they liked. They can vote for one of them, or they can vote for all of them, or something in between. In the first round, with 22 competitors, the 17 sigs with the most votes advance. However, rather than being out, the bottom 5 all being eliminated, they'll have a challenge to complete (something quick, maybe a 10 minute piece) which will be put into another poll, where the top 2 vote getters advance to the next round. The way the rounds will proceed is: 22: bottom 5 go to challenge, 2 in challenge advance 19: bottom 5 go to challenge, 2 in challenge advance 16: bottom 3 go to challenge, 1 in challenge advances 14: bottom 3 go to challenge, 1 in challenge advances 12: bottom 3 go to challenge, 1 in challenge advances 10: bottom 3 go to challenge, 1 in challenge advances From the top 8 it goes into a conventional single elimination bracket (1 vs. 8, 4 vs. 5, etc.). The seeding will be determined based on points to determine which of the 8 remaining people performed the best throughout. We also wanted to have themes for each of the first 6 rounds before the single elimination playoff thing, so we're doing that. We're pretty much just going on an honor system, but sigs that don't fit the theme will probably get a deduction or some shit. We'll see if it happens. So yeah. This is starting tomorrow.
