How the season started

 

Adison Bond started off on the Mississauga Hounds and was starting to make a name for himself. While his team was struggling they kept their heads up high and made friends along the way. Ending his tenor playing 24 games with the Hounds and getting voted by his teammates as an Assistant Captain. It was an honor but the road ended for Bond at the Hounds. Bond was then traded to Ottawa Lynx and has improved his game greatly! ending off going to the Playoffs with his team ending the season on a 9 game winning streak to secure a spot but falling short in the first round. Although Ottawa fell short the season was a blessing for Bond he was able to work on his game and end with a +/- of 0 but ended the season with 34 Assist and 12 Goals. While the trade separated Bond from his original team he didn't let that effect him.

 

Pros

• Passing - High passing. Bond has a focus on passing since that is what he was taught. Always being told to look for that extra pass for your open teammate. Ended the season with 41 Assist.
• Faceoffs - At first Bond had a low faceoff rating but that changed once he was able to find what he wanted to be like on the Ice.
• Defense - Bond wants to be on the Ice all the time and be making an impact on the outcome of the game. For that to happen he has been focusing on getting better at defense so that he can get more time on the Ice and improve.
• Skating - Bond wastes time Skating since it reminds him of his younger days and how he was taught to play the game

 

Cons

• Puck Handling - Never was a strong suit for Bond since he would just skate around people when he was younger.
• Checking - Something that Bond has been wanting to work on but hasn't jumped up the priority list as of yet. If Bond can get Checking down and work on his strength then he can be a steal in the VHL draft.
• Penalty Shot - PS is a attribute that Bond has been working on since a lot of games that he was apart of this season they went to OT and a lot of time Shoot outs.
