Only one day into his visit in Warsaw, Rico Zamboni changed plans, took the next flight to the United States, landed in Las Vegas, and Ubered directly to the Las Vegas Aces Headquarters.  The 84 year old ice resurfacer was watching ESPN 7 on the veranda of his Warsaw suite, when he saw the change in leadership for the VHLM hockey team.  Mubbles took on another job and that left an opening for the GM position, which was deservingly handed to Shindigs, after a short negotiation process.  Vegas was not about to let someone with Shindigs’ caliber slip by and be grabbed by another team.  The new GM Shindigs, and his relatively new AGM Eagle have jumped into the new responsibilities with the gusto and intensity that made them so desirable as managers.  The city is buzzing with excitement and people are already talking championship.

Rico Zamboni took the opportunity to meet with Shindigs, during a morning executive meeting.  Zamboni could tell that Shindigs was already feeling the pressure but was handling things with enthusiasm.  Zamboni questioned Shindigs regarding his biggest challenge, to which Shindigs discussed his star defenseman, and team captain, Juan Ceson.

Early on in the negotiating process with the diminutive defender, Eagle understood from Shindigs’ direction to retain Juan Ceson no matter the cost.  After several meetings and discussions, the Aces punisher agreed not to retire in exchange for a luxury home and other amenities in Juan Ceson’s home country, Andorra.  Eagle went through a lot of trouble to please Ceson, until the deal was reached.  Juan Ceson will be able to return to his homeland anytime he chooses, where he will be able to enjoy his modern mansion, which includes an indoor pool, hockey rink, barn for horses and donkeys, a pond for fishing, and 8 car garage where Juan Ceson will also be provided a variety of vehicles.  A luxury yacht was also included.  The yacht is currently moored in Barcelona.

Once the negotiations were complete and Ceson agreed to stay on the Aces, Shindigs began his managing of the build of Juan Ceson to make him the leader of the team and defender of the Aces.  Shindigs has provided Ceson with the numbers needed for the 165.1 CM, 63.503 KG brute force on the ice.  With the new hybrid in play, Ceson will likely put all 100 TPE he currently has into grit, which is surely going to make him the number 1 instigator in the league, not to mention a heavy checker who will most definitely punish the opposing forwards.  Juan Ceson was a dominating defender in season 82 and although he didn’t get the playing time he deserved, he put up some impressive numbers, including 38 hits and 40 blocked shots.

One would think that with Ceson’s focus on crushing hits and aggressive hockey that his penalty minutes would be through the roof; however, Juan managed to remain on the ice without spending too much time in the sin bin.  Shindigs is prepared for Ceson’s role as gritty instigator and expects the team captain to get a few more minutes in the box, he is will to take that as it will also put an opposing team player in the box as well.  Ceson only needs to choose who he fights with.

All of this has excited the Las Vegas fans and the odds makers have created a Juan Ceson book giving fans the opportunity to place bets on the defender.  Rico Zamboni has placed a large bet on Ceson’s first game, on the over/under of penalty minutes by Ceson.  Right now the over/under is at 10.5, which Zamboni says is extremely low and he placed his bet on the over.  For other wagers, feel free to look into the Las Vegas Aces Discord Channel, or watch for the next article involving Rico Zamboni.

Zamboni left Shindig’s office wishing him a successful season and expecting good results.  It is reported that Zamboni is headed to Barcelona next to jump on Ceson’s yacht and take to the sea.
