With Wrestlemania's second day just starting, I figured I would have a look into who was the first ever wrestler drafted in the VHL. As people will have noticed, there have been a few wrestlers in the recent history of the VHL, but surprisingly we have to wait until Season 32 for the "Intellectual Saviour of the Masses" Damian Sandow to break the mould and become the first wrestler to be drafted in the VHL after he was selected 5th overall by the Seattle Bears. There is one other person taken prior to that who could technically be classed as a wrestler who was taken in Season 4, but given they're missing the middle initial in their wrestler name, I imagine it wasn't intentional.

But yeah, given we've had pop stars (Lady Gaga), historical leaders (Genghis Khan) and several football players taken before Season 32, I was surprised it took that long for one to be drafted and that it wound up being one who never won the top title.
