Deathwalker muses about: a little bit of everything

Many thoughts going through my head tonight as I catch up on all the trade action like.... WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING????

 

Wow, so many crazy trades, not least of which the ones that have shipped Telker, Mourning, and Peepants from Malmo (being my team and all). I seriously had dreams of Telker and Deathwalker spending their whole careers together as Nighthawks and riding off into the frozen Malmo sunset together after S84 but alas, it was not to be. Good luck, my former mates. You will be missed. Many teams are loading up, risking a lot to gamble with the hybrid attributes, some are rebuilding, perhaps taking a wait-and-see approach so that they can draft better in the future.

 

Speaking of the draft, this draft seems interesting. Not a load of top-end talent (no diss to those at the top!) but it's a relatively deep draft with lots of potential for late-round gems to be unearthed. Hopefully, Malmo can select a few gems with their three 3rd-rounders at 39th 40th, & 44th.

 

I think I'm happy with my new hybrid build. Kudos to the BOG and listening to our concerns and tweaking the attributes even before the season begins. I'm keeping my checking and still going for the all-time record for career hits. Hopefully, I don't get in too many fights, haha.
