Welcome to tonight's edition of Rush Hour :yuk:. In tonight's edition we're going to be covering game 314 Outlaws vs. Rush. Let's jump right into the action.

First up the Rush were hosting the Outlaws at home. The first period was owned by the Outlaws as they were out shooting the Rush 14-8 and notched two markers. Both Outlaws goals in the first came late in the period as Joey Saffron lit up the red light off a sweet pass from Cody Nichushkin at 16:17. Nichushkin would assist on the Outlaws' second goal in the frame setting up Magnus Hertzberg for his 51st goal of the season at 18:28. Kristoffer Ruud would also pick up a point as the second assist on the goal.

The second period was quiet and it set up for a big third with the Rush looking to claw back into the game.

Very early on new addition Maris Ziedins rippled the twine off a great passing play set up by Chase White and Jihoon Park. Park has been a great playmaker this season sitting third on the Rush with 51 helpers. The Outlaws would answer back less then four minutes later as Ruud would notch a marker from Bo Reinhart and Magnus Hertzberg giving Ruud and Hertzberg both two-point games. That would be it for the Outlaws as the Rush took over and started a very unlikely comeback that would ultimately give them the win. 7:54 into the third and Ryan Cattrall tipped one past Turku keeper Matti Auvinen off a seeing eye pass from Sachimo Zoidberg as he streaked towards the net. Fast forward to 12:27 and a great cycle ends with Charlie Conway notched his fourth of the season off some fantastic puck movement with Jaime Hill finding him open in the slot. Maris Ziedins also notched his first of two markers, his second coming on the eventual game winner. With 2:15 left to play in the game, Ziedins launched a great breakout pass that found Eti Yoman, who's tied for second in Rush scoring, and he saucered one over to Conway who one-timed it past Auvinen to take the lead. The Rush held off the Outlaws for the last 2 minutes of the period to secure the win with a final score of :yuk: 4 - 3 :tur:

A handful of players were on the top of their game in this one, with Maris Ziedins taking home the first star to no ones surprise with a goal and two assists. Charlie Conway notched two markers to take home second star, and Kristoffer Ruud threw one in and helped on another to slide into the third star. Magnus Hertzberg and Cody Nichushkin both had multiple point games as well, with Hertzberg scoring a goal and adding a helper with Nichushkin adding two assists to his season total.

The goalies both had solid but not spectacular performances in this tight affair. Santeri Heikela was the victor leading the Rush to victory by stopping 23 of the 26 shots he faced with an adequate .885 save percentage picking up his 35th win of the season. Statistically Matti Auvinen had the better game, but he did pick up the loss. He faced 37 shots and turned aside 33 of them with a .892 save percentage.

The interesting statistic of the game was that not a single penalty was called to either side, or as it's called around the sport, the refs threw a "no-hitter", which is a jargon term for no penalties being called in an entire game.

That'll wrap up this edition of Rush Hour :yuk:. We hope you'll join us for our next edition. Goodnight and keep your stick on the ice.

You forgot the part where the Asst GM of Yukon gave an inspirational speech that carried the team to victory....well he promised to take the team to Hooters if they won anyway. Close enough.

617 words. I know Hawksfan19 did somewhat of a re-cap with some Wild games, and like his, you did a good job with the analysis and the play-by-play. This had good writing, was structured very well and was a nice summary.

Grammar: 2/2

out shooting = out-shooting

less then = less than

notched = notching

ones = one's

on the top of their game = on top of their game
