I assume that the slightly out of focus effect is by design, but whether it is or is not, I do not find it very effective or appealing. You do have a reasonable logo swap, and the subject matter has some merit. You could include some text or other more informative material to sort of explain what this is all about. This is only my opinion and please do not take my criticism personally.
