VHLM Life Of Klaus

Niklaus Mikaelson has helped lead the Oslo Storm to the playoffs. He has been a key component to this team and is one of the top goalies in the VHLM. The team has gone 12-10-5 with him in the net ever since he arrived in Oslo. Granted he wished the team had won more games, but he did help get a dozen wins. He wished also that they could have lost less games but he will work on more during the off-season. He knows that he can only get better from here. Of course he will be entering the VHLM draft and he does not quite know where he will go. With Minot owning the first overall pick, it was rumored that GM InstantRockstar was going to bring his player in. That would make the second overall pick, (owned by Bratislava), the team that Klaus would be headed to. Barring any trades, that would be his new home.

Klaus has talked with current GM Draper about if he fell. The odds of Klaus falling past the second overall pick is very slim. A goalie who is getting training points weekly like he is, is something to be coveted. He currently has around 100 training points and that could be crucial to a championship caliber team. Of course the other positions are needed as well, but a goalie is something that will push a team over the top. Klaus had a save percentage under .900% for those 27 games he has played and he is irritated by it. Lots of extensive work will be done during the off-season to help get his save percentage up. He also hopes that his leadership will help pump up the team and get them ready for the finals. They have played a series so far and they managed to sweep their opponents, the Moscow Red Wolves.

Hopefully Klaus can manage to put up good numbers next season. He is looking to enter the season 41 draft and has been making a strong case for going first overall. His only competition for going first overall is Teuvo Ruutu. Of course Teuvo does not have as many training points as Klaus, he still is a threat for that number one spot. It really all comes down to who manages to get the first overall pick and what position they are looking for. We could see some trade deadline deals being made or some in the season 40 off-season. Klaus isn't really worried about all of that right now. His main focus is stopping the Bern Royals so they can go on to the championship game. It's going to be a tough task making it past Bern, but he thinks it's possible. Once they get to that Championship game, hopefully they face the Ottawa Lynx. It has been rumored that Klaus had a run in with Thomas O'Malley and they have became rivals. They swore that if they got to the championship game, they would stop each other from winning. Of course everyone wants to hoist a cup, but only one team can do that. Klaus is striving to make that happen and he knows it's all hard work from here.

Klaus has definitely been instrumental in Oslo's late-season success, and certainly our playoff success. I'm glad to have him aboard the viking ship.
