All roads lead to Rome (and to the Cup) ep.21 (Trade Deadline)

Welcome everyone,

 

Today at 3PM EST was the trade deadline and even if the Rome Gladiators are dead last in the league, they did not stay calm today. Indeed, two trades were completed between the Bratislava Watchmen and the Gladiators. First, the Gladiators acquired Manny Wilson @Jack Johnson and a S84 BRA 3rd for Rome's forward Sock Monkey @chikn. Wislon is currently playing in the VHLM with the Halifax 21st and is expected to join the Gladiators next season. Finally, the Gladiators acquired Minou Lambert @Minoulambert23and a S85 BRA 4th in exchange of Rome's only defencemen, Scoish Velociraptor Maloish @youloser1337. Scoish was goint to leave the team at the end of the season and seeing how the team is doing, the management did want to loose him for nothing. Minou Lambert is expected to join Rome in the next couple of days and finish the season with the team.
