Lemorse7 1,022
Starting with the VHL we have Toronto sweeping Calgary, who wasn’t a surprise to anyone but I was thinking that Calgary would have won 1 games or two. Without no doubt I don’t anyone was thinking that Calgary was going to finish third in their conference Saku was carrying the team during the season, but Toronto team in the other hand are really playing great Paul Atreides and Aurelien Moreau are dominating at scoring goals and Oskar Lindbergh between the pipes is on fire since the start of the season and is not looking to cold down. Toronto have scored 11 goals during that series, who is not a lot for a team that just sweep another team. But they also only let in 6 goals who id the lowest a team have let in in any team in the playoff. So Toronto if they want to have chance versus possibly Seattle they need to find a way to score more or really shutting down their offense. The next series that we are talking about is Seattle vs Chicago. After Chicago swept Dc in a best of 5 where they score 11 goals in 3 games and only let them score 6. Same as the Toronto Calgary series, but in 1 game less. Who is quite surprising when you look at the both team roster Chicago have a good forward rookie core who really want to make head turns in their first season in the VHL, with Bo Board game and Sundin. But its still surprising that they successfully beat the Dc team while they have a really strong defensive core with Tui Sova and Peepants. To return to Seattle vs Chicago the series is now 3-1 for Seattle, without no surprise really Chicago just don’t stand a chance versus The Seattle Bears who have score 13 goals in 4 goals with AJ, Vinny Detroit, on their first line who is one of the best line in the league if not the best, While their defensive core and Em Em Flex are a really good and difficult squad to play against only let in 8 goals. Now the Europe (the better conference), Moscow vs Prague, the series is tied 2-2 and Spartan said not to ping him so I wont. This is the Comish fighting each other to be the best goalie in that series. The closest series by far with Moscow having the slight advantage they have score 10 goals while Prague have score 9. Duncan Idaho and Seabasstard are leading the charge in offense for Moscow while in the other team, Reylynn Reinhart, Tessier and Baby Bob. While at the defensive position Asher Reinhart is facing against Hard Markinson to be the defenseman that leads is team to the next series. Now the next and final series is Riga against Warsaw, the Riga is leading the series 3-1. Riga is the team that have score the most goals in 4 games for a team with 14, while Warsaw score 9 goals. Riga have in my opinion the best offensive squad with their big 3 that Battre Sandstrom, Anze Miklavz and Alex Johnston, but don’t sleep on their second line who are the reason that are leading this series with Alexandre Leduc, Brendan Telker and Biggie Cheese helping them at the blue line. While Warsaw have some pieces but just cannot compete versus them. 568 words Ricer13 and jacobcarson877 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/121592-vhl-playoff/ Share on other sites
JCarson 751
8/10 on this article. Great content and reasonable analysis of the various teams and games. I liked the special callout of players who were performing above expectation. The minimal comments on the Riga series seams like the article was cut off as it had surpassed the word requirement for the points scoring. Looking forward to the authors analysis of the next games. Keep up the good work. Marked the scoring down due to some language issues, too bad the editor didn't do their job. Damn editors.
