S83 Reaper Awards!

Welcome Reapers! To the S83 Reaper awards! This is one of my favorite times of the season as it gives me a chance to celebrate with the players that played for the team I love. It was an honor to have all of you on this team this season and if you don't return to this team next season than I wish you luck on whichever team you're on and hope you had a great season with our team. 

 

This is the third Reaper awards I have personally hosted and I'm happy to have you all here!

 

Tonight we'll be giving out Five Awards to the Reapers that helped our team in different ways. I would like to point out that even if you didn't win an award this season you were still important to the team!

 

 

Our First award of the night is the Reserve Reaper. This award is given to a player on the Philadelphia Reapers that performed well despite limited role on the team. They proved to themselves and to the team that they are a future star in any role you put them in. Since we have a limited roster I will be including some former Reapers that only played a few games with us this season.

The Winner of the VHLM S83 Reserve Reaper Award is…Our Back Up Goalie, despite playing in their first season they had a great save percentage!

The Risible Reaper award is given to a player that shows all the aspects of being a locker room leader. They might've not had a Letter on their jersey this season but they have shown that they deserve one in the future with whichever team is lucky enough to have this player.

The Winner of the VHLM S83 Risible Reaper award is…Though many players in our locker room were vocal and fun people to play with, only one can win the award. I would like to take this moment to honor the S83 Risible Reaper…

This Award is one of my favorite awards as it is given to the Reaper that shows the most willingness to throw the body and sacrifice it to block shots. Every team needs a player that is courageous and strong. This award is to celebrate that player for our team.

The Winner of the VHLM S83 Rough Reaper award is…Our top line defender who often protected our goalies from facing a high number of shots as well as punish the opposing teams with devastating hits…

The Resilient Reaper award is given to the Reaper that often played in high pressure situations. Despite how many points they might've scored they played an amazing game when facing the top players from all around the league and showed they can be trusted in that role.

The Winner of the VHLM S83 Resilient Reaper award is…A solid two way forward, willing to throw the body as well as put up a ton of points.

The Final award is the Righteous Reaper, we award it last every season because it is the most prestigious Reaper award. The last few previous winners of this award have gone on to have good careers thus far. The award is given to the Reaper who is the MVP of the team, they thrived in all scenarios and never gave up on a play. This player had a level head in all situations and was trusted in the role they played on the team. Even being Nominated for this award should be an honor as it shows how important a player was for our team.

The Winner of the VHLM S83 Righteous Reaper award is…The player that put up the most points on our team as well as a player that had over 100 hits this season!
