On a more serious note, that I have overlooked (yes my eyesight rivals RC's for the worst in the league)... does that mean a mutual option to extend the contract beyond the stated seasons?

As far as I know it's an optional to play the final season of Bo's career there too. Since it's mutual both the player and GM needs to accept it.
