Komarov has been a rock all season long for the Oslo Storm keeping their heads up all through the season even during the lowest points. Never once showing much sadness. However when Komarov took the podium after the game 5 loss that gave the Lynx the Cup. Something was off.

He answered most of the questions just fine with professionalism, however at the end showed a side no one had seen. He started to tear up and made one message to Oslo fans. "I failed you and im sorry we made it all this way but we just did not finish it off i take the blame i did not lead this team properly" Komarov stated in the final points of the presser.

"The team stepped up when they needed it i did not i played well enough, but when push came to shove i choked".
