Well, my last points task couldn’t be less relevant now, with the games played from that time, well Warsaw hasn’t lost. They are currently on an 8-game winning streak and now, they are first in the entire league. This was the expectation from the beginning, but the team couldn’t make it to the place of expectation. Warsaw is now on fire, and the whole team is proving their worth, they are proving to be ready for the playoffs, so the question is will they win it? It's hard to say now but the team is playing like champions this year, so it's hard to say no.

Again, we need to talk about Brendan Marner because his performance has actually improved. He went from barely half a point per game to a point per game and is on the up trend. Although Brendan Marner used to be seen as a playmaker in his early years, he has definitely become an offensive force of goals being second on his team for most scoring. Like last season Marner is averaging about a point per game, but his physical game has been taking strides backward, he was confident in his rookie year, breaking one of the top hitters in the VHL, and intimidated his opponents every game. The following year he got a lot of hits, but not nearly where he was in the last season, close to 100 hits down. This season he is on pace for even fewer hits, with only the potential to put up 168 hits. This is concerning for Marner as he wanted to solidify himself as a 2-way player, but his points are dropping every season, and so are his hits. Brendan Marner is expecting to become a 2-way threat, but where he stands now, he will be lucky to be an elite VHL player in the near future.

Regardless of Marner not improving the way people expected, the GM for Warsaw, Dlamb, made a team that would be VHL champions, with trades last year, and signings last season. In the current season Dlamb didn’t really sign or trade for new players as the team was already in a good state, the only thing that he did was resign current players in Warsaw to keep the team together. Oh yes, one trade was significant to talk about, and that is proving to be a big part of Warsaw was when Dlamb traded for his son earlier this season. Vasile Lamb is a number 1 caliber winger, but he has been playing second-line minutes as the first line has been pretty well solidified from the previous year. While Kisslinger and Marner are on the same team, it will be pretty hard to break up the dynamic draft duo.

All in all, the Warsaw team is looking like one of the best teams in the VHL this year, with 5 UFA on the team, a prospect UFA, and 1 mutual option, Warsaw is on a win now season. The players will be looking to get paid, so what better way than to win the cup?
