All roads lead to Rome (and to the Cup) ep.29 (New player and middle of the season)

Welcome everyone,

 

We are almost at the middle of the of the season and we are starting to see which team are going to be contenders to make the playoffs and win the Cup. Just like everyone expected, the Istanbul Red Wolves, the Bratislava Watchmen and the Vasteras Iron Eagles are all part of the top four in the league, but the Rome Gladiators are currently causing a big surprise by being the fourth in the league at the moment. However, because of the way the divisions are made, the Gladiators are not in a playoffs spot. If Rome, with 37 points in 34 games, wants to make the playoffs, they need to exceed in the standings the Red Wolves and the Watchmen who are respectively first and second in the league with 48 and 45 points in 34 games. The Geneva Rush are the other team in the Acyd divison and they are fifth in the league with 36 points in 34 games. So, all four teams in the Acyd division are in the top five of the league. The Rome Gladiators also acquired a new defensemen, Carson Hound @Ty343, a couple of days ago and he is expected to make his debut today or tomorrow with the team.
