Shindigs 1,771
After the last sim it was finally official, we can't be caught for 1st seed this season. But for quite a while now, that's not really been the goal. After @TopTiddee2 asked what the franchise record for points was for Vegas earlier in the season (124). That's kind of been something we've collectively had our eyes on as a team. Currently we are on pace to finish with 124.75 points or something like that. Which means that dream is very much still alive, however it would require us to basically be 1 win above our PCT for the season to make it happen. So who are we playing, and could that actually realistically happen? 2x Miami Record: 4-0-0 So statistically speaking we should win both games against Miami, giving us 4 of the 14 points we need. Ottawa Record: 4-1-0 With the loss being before they sold literally everything. So realistically we should win this. Giving us 6 of the 14 points we need. Halifax Record: 2-2-1 Yes, due to absurd amounts of goalie BS. We have a .500 record against Halifax, so let's say that on average we get 1 point against them. Then we're at 7 of 14. San Diego Record: 10-0-0 If we lose this it would be pretty damn impressive. Though they have acquired a lot of players of late. So who knows? But realistically this should put us to 9 of 14. Mississauga Record: 3-1-1 We do still technically have the winning record against them. But let's call this one a L. Since we lost our last game against them. Still 9 of 14. Houston Record: 7-1-0 We have a surprisingly good record against Houston, for how good they are. Their goalie just really doesn't like us. With their one win coming in a game where he stood on his head. So this hopefully will be 11 of 14. Mississauga Record: 3-2-1* Let's assume this one is a win, cause statistically it should be. And we end up with 13 of 14 and tie the record of 124 points. Insert sad noises. So unless we can get our shit together and actually beat Halifax like we should, we'll get FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY. Also we're starting our backup against most the rebuilders in this stretch, so it's not like I'm even stacking the deck in our favor anyways. If it happens it happens. animal74 and TopTiddee2 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/124788-vegas-secures-1st-seed/ Share on other sites

If you try and type S N U B B E D. It becomes that. Old league meme.
