Well, now that the season has come to a close and teams begin their time in the playoffs it is safe to say that Napoleon Dynamite has been anything but dynamite this season. In fact, it was almost an embarrassing season for the rookie center. Dynamite, the youngest player on Davos, found himself not only with a mere 22 points for the season, but a -28 +/-. Meaning, his presence on the ice led to more goals against than goals for. Not a great stat to have attached to your name as a rookie, that's for sure. So, what's the problem? What has been the issue for Dynamite? A few skeptics have said that he came up too early to the VHL from the VHLE and should have played an extra season in the European league. In fact, most believe that to be the case. Simply that Dynamite was too young to play in such a high-rated and skilled league. However, there is hope after such an abysmal season. The hope is that Dynamite has learned, grown, and will work extra hard in the playoffs and off-season to prepare for the next season. It's all about growth, and Dynamite certainly has plenty of room to grow.
