When you beat a welfare team - can you even celebrate?

Carried by Lindbergh and Atreides, carried by the bot G, Toronto was able to put together a game plan that worked during the regular season, but when playoff hockey was played the results were not there. Toronto played against Calgary in the first round of the playoffs, but unfortunately for the Toronto fans, Calgary moves on to the next round after winning three games in a row. Sure, the games between the two teams were tight games, but if you lose three times in three games - the other team was better.  Calgary defender Erlantz Jokinen had this to say after game three:

"I was a bit surprised Toronto was able to collect so many points during the regular season, but that just goes to show that regular season hockey and playoff hockey are two different things. If you compare the two teams, I think we have far more depth. We have been steadily improving all year long and it showed in this series, we were clearly the better team."

Toronto starts their off-season, and Calgary continues to the next round. In the other series, Riga and Davos are 2-2 at the moment, which moves on? We will see today!
