The S84 Playoffs have seen Warsaw Predators sophomore sensation Girts Galvins become a superstar in the VHL, leading the playoffs in scoring with an incredible 13 points in 7 games! Galvins led his team past Helsinki with 6 goals and 7 assists including a 2 goal game 6 when his team was facing elimination and then added another clutch goal in game 7. It's safe to say Girts Galvins has arrived! After a big breakout sophomore season of 29 goals and 60+ points he's now taken it to another level in the playoffs and is #1 in the entire VHL in points when it counts the most.

Let's take a look at his performance in this series..

Game 1: 1G, 1A. Galvins scored the first goal of the playoffs for Warsaw in a 3-2 double overtime victory, a strong performance to open the playoffs. Shoutout to Zach Kisslinger on the OT winner!

Game 2: 1A. Galvins picked up an assist in an otherwise forgettable 6-3 loss, while he contributed this was a game to forget about.

Game 3: 1G, 2A. Galvins best playoff game to date, a 3 point performance where he once again opened the scoring for Warsaw, this time in a 4-2 victory, a great game for the sophomore sensation.

Game 4: 2A. Galvins picked up two primary assists in this one, a close game that ended in a 4-2 loss but Galvins did his part to keep Warsaw in this one.

Game 5. 1G. Galvins potted a clutch game tying goal in this one during the 2nd period to tie it up 3-3 before eventually ending in a heart breaker 5-4 loss where Helsinki bot line scored the game winner in the 3rd.

Game 6. 2G. Galvins came up huge with his team facing elimination he scored 2 clutch goals in a 3-2 game win, a huge performance when it mattered the most. Shoutout to Vasile Lamb on the game winner in this one.

Game 7: 1G, 1A. Galvins Game 7, the most important game of the year and perhaps his young career, he came up clutch again with a big 2nd period goal and added an assist in an awesome 4-2 victory!

Girts was all over the scoresheet in this series, producing in every game and was a big reason Warsaw was able to storm back and beat Helsinki. He proved to be clutch when everything is on the line and that's what you want in a player. Now Galvins and the Predators take on those poopy pants Moscow Menace and Girts will look to stay hot and help his team make the finals. The entire Warsaw team is playing well right now up and down the line up, Galvins has been great but is only one piece of the puzzle, he has great linemates and teammates to support him and he couldn't be happier with how things are going right now for himself and the Predators. The semi-finals should be a big challenge and a lot of fun, if Galvins can keep this up we may see Warsaw play for the Cup!
