Ori enjoying the playoffs for the first time

Jonathan Ori finished his sixth regular season in the VHL this year and for the first time finally got to go to the playoffs. The difference of course is that during the offseason he left Helsinki and joined the Seattle Bears, which for now was seemingly the right move for the Canadian center. Both Helsinki and Seattle endured a brutal seven game series, the difference? Seattle won their series against the Chicago Phoenix while Helsinki lost theirs against the Warsaw Predators. Seattle is now on series point against the number one North American seed D.C Dragons while Warsaw has done the same to the Moscow Menace. Both series are 3-1 currently. Ori himself hasn't let the pressure get to him despite it being his fist time here, he has 12 assists in 11 game currently, while everyone is still waiting for him to score his first playoff goal he's showing that skill that makes him and elite playmaker. He is second overall in assist leaders in the playoffs with only the Predators Nalwa ahead of him and points wise he is tied with four other players.

Ori does admit he had to get some jitters out in the first round and when the series went to game seven he was feeling the pressure, he didn't want to be out so soon after making it for the first time. Thankfully Seattle has one of if not the most experienced GM's in Bana and with help from his teammates and the amazing goaltending from rookie Dusty the team pushed through. During the handshake line one could see the relief Ori was feeling, even tearing up a little, the moment getting to him. Sure it's not the ultimate prize that he and the team wants but for the six veteran it means a lot to finally be playing in the post season.
