Well it doesn't look very good for the Moscow Menace right now as they dropped both their games over the weekend in Warsaw and are now down 3-1 in the European Conference Finals. This is not what most expected out of a team that swept away Davos in the first round and finished off the season with the Victory Cup for having the best regular season record in the VHL.

The Menace were pretty heavily favored in this series as Moscow won 5 out of the 6 games played between the two teams in the regular season but now their whole quest for the Continental Cup might be in jeaperady as they face elimination and would have to win the next 3 straight games in order to survive against the Predators.

Here are the top three problems plaguing the Menace this series

3. Goal Scoring

This team relied a lot on scoring and lead the VHL in scoring during the regular season  with an average 3.69 goals a game. Now in this series the Menace have scored 9 goals for a average of  2.25 goal a game.

2. The Seabasstard

He and Massif tied for the team lead in goals (40) and he has only scored the lone goal so far these playoffs and has a shooting precentage of 3%, The Seabasstard has to get going already and recreate some of the magic he displayed in the regular season.

3. Special Teams

The Predators having been killing the Menace when it comes to special teams. The Preds have scoring on 30% of the powerplays, the Menace? 11% Their special teams are gonna have to kick it up a notch or the Menace have got to just stay out of the box.
