Sometimes, writing these .com pieces can be really challenging, as it's hard to come up with something that is both interesting and can be succinctly discussed. I found that this is even more difficult during the offseason, where, everyone who is not in League or team Management is basically just left to their own devices, so to speak. So as a standard, "typical" user, I'm not exactly sure what I should be writing about.

 

I could talk about how it's already September, have school starts for my children in a couple of days, how insanely busy work has been getting ready for the school year. Or I could talk about the weather, the weird mix of cooler nights and hot humid days, the compulsion to pull on a sweatshirt when I'm leaving for work and take it off within 30 minutes because it's so damn hot out. But ultimately, I just want the league to start up again.
