Welcome back to Fox 39. I'm Chris Rock.

I got the chance to sit down with Las Vegas Aces AGM and current Oslo Storm Defenseman Reid Johnson. I asked him questions about his recent VHL/VHLE Draft experience and his appointment to AGM of the Las Vegas Aces.

CR: So Reid, last time I sat down with you, you had mentioned that you would love to be working in the Las Vegas front office at some point in your career, and @Shindigshas now appointed you to that position. How excited are you and do you think both Shindigs and yourself have what it takes to 3-peat?

RJ: Yeah, I think I was ready to help Shindigs take over in his last season as the LVA GM. He's someone that I think can be a teacher to me and maybe appoints me to GM once he decides on his future. I would absolutely love to have him around for another year, but I understand he has other responsibilities. I think we have built a solid, very active roster. As you might've seen in the news, we were able to re-sign Juan Ceson ( @dylanjj37) after a bit of negotiating. Our D core is really solid and we have several goal scorers up and down the roster. That's what you need to be successful in the M. Hopefully we can fight for the 3-peat.

CR: So, since you are no longer a player for the Las Vegas Aces, you moved up to the VHL and VHLE Draft, where you were selected by the Malmo Nighthawks with the 9th overall pick and the Oslo Storm (VHLE) with the 5th overall pick. Knowing that you will more than likely be playing in the E for this season, what do you think you will have to do to finally reach that point of the VHL?

RJ: I think just grinding out in practice. Staying very active. Hopefully meaning the higher-ups take notice of my progression and call me up if they need it to push for the playoffs. I'm excited to get a start in the E though. I think I can gel well with the guys (or girls) in the locker room.

CR: Thank you for your time Reid.
