That is 29 years of futility. Since this is a day in history player agent of Dimothenis Vlasis, Shawn Howard, is currently attending the game. He is quite excited because during his lifetime he has never seen the Royals in the playoffs and to be honest he isn't even a fan of the Royals it's just exciting to see a new team in the playoffs after years of watching the Yankees and Red Sox battle for postseason supremacy year after year. Salvador Perez also happens to be Howard's favorite catcher. Other than James Shields and Salvador Perez, Shawn really doesn't know much about the Royals. As I am writing this Brandon Moss hits a 2 run homerun for the Athletics to now lead the Royals 2-0. Damn. This sucks. anyways do you guys think the Royals could make a comeback?
