Lavelle Climbing the Leaderboard

Recommended Posts

DC Dragons forward has been riding high on the DC winning streak. Whilst the Dragons have had a very successful start to the season, Lavelle has also climbed to the top of the leaderboard with 37 points in 22 games played. Lavelle is also leading the league in goals with 19. Even tho the Dragons lost forward Duncan Idaho, Lavelle still had the slick passing and skill of Tui Sova, and a reunion with Ryan Vidot. The Lavelle-Vidot pairing continues to cause headaches for opposing teams. Lavelle also finds himself in the top 10 in hits with 91. Lavelle had 40 hits all last season. Why the change? The one thing Lavelle wanted to work on during the off-season was getting more involved physically to be able to outmuscle the puck off the opponent and put more pressure on during a chase for the puck in the zone. Can Lavelle beat his career highs and stay amongst the league leaders?
