Last week I may have had a few VHLE GM's confused for the lack of updating that had been done. I want to apologize and explain why.

I play volleyball and I am super competitive in any sport I play, with this extremely competitive mindset comes a lot of self-pressure. I push myself to be better and when I don't meet my standards I get mad at myself and it's not fun. I have played 28 volleyball games in the past 14 days. When I got home from games or tournaments of practices I am exhausted. I will be back to updating regularly and max earning for the next few weeks but basketball season will start soon and that's the sport where I will really battle with myself mentally, please don't get too upset with me future GM if I don't max earn, I will try my best every week but I might not be up to it or just be sleeping due to exhaustion.

To lighten up the mood of this article I wanted to say that I am proud of the Ottawa Lynx for their performance in the regular season and post-season. Although we lost in 7, I am still very proud to be former captain of the Lynx and couldn't have had better teammates and AGM and interim GM. Thanks to everyone in the VHLM who made John Richards the player he is today.

Don't ever feel like you owe the league an apology for having a life lol, you also don't owe the league your time or your updates. Life comes first, and any additional time you can use to enjoy the VHL is appreciated by everyone you'll interact with. Most if not all GMs will understand your commitments and try to help you plan around them to become the best VHL player you can be, so don't stress about missing some TPE here and there.

I believe you Spartan. You are a very wise person.
