Teno WJC Catchup

With Team USA heading to the finals of the WJC, Jesse Teno has, up to this point, started every game and will probably finish off the tournament with a 10-3-1 record including 1 shutout. Teno has earned a 0.935 save percentage and 2.40 goals against average. They also managed to get on the scoreboard with 2 assists as well. It’s looking like Team USA might put Jeremy Swayman ( @Agito) in for the finals and Teno will be rooting on their teammate to take home the gold today.

 

Teno’s performance definitely shows their improvement since their days in Saskatoon as they carry on their winning performances from Cologne. As S86 approaches, Jesse will soon have their first taste of the majors, acting as backup goalie in London for newly acquired David Davis ( @Josh), a well-established veteran of the VHL. Teno said that they look forward to watching Davis play and hopefully will pick up some tips and tricks from him.

The exploits of Jesse Teno during the WJC make great reading. The young goalie played well, accomplishing a significant record. Congratulations for a great tournament.  The young Jesse Teno has plenty to learn playing back up for the London United behind newly acquired David Davis.  As Jesse Teno continues to grow and develop they will soon take over top spot as the London United push to be long standing playoff contenders.
