Americans Start Strong... Again

For the third straight season, the New York Americans have started the season on cruise control, dominating the teams they have played on all sides of the ice. Many anticipated the boys from New York to continue to lead the league and thus far they haven't disappointed their faithful fans. Through nine games the teams is a sparkling 9-0 with the highest positive goal differential in the league by a mile. The team hasn't been tested much, but thus far other competetive teams they have faced off against have been made to look fairly weak.

"I think the schedule has been pretty easy so far, but I think we all remain confident that this is another championship caliber team in New York this season. I'm happy to see a number of veterans and younger guys having what looks to be career years. I can't wait to play some of the more competetive teams who have also been our biggest naysayers," American forward Tom Slaughter said recently.
