JCarson 726
Veteran Presence through Leadership Molly the Cat has had an unconventional career so far. Molly the Cat went undrafted in the VHLM, entering the league after the S83 draft Molly the Cat was signed as a free agent by the San Diego Marlins. Molly the Cat put up reasonable rookie numbers but was outperformed by a talented S83 San Diego team that boasted the likes of AK92 Wit da Hoodie, Clueless Wallob, Faith Hope Love and Tyler Busser. Moving to the VHLE and Molly the Cat’s career progressed in a comparable manner, putting up reasonable numbers but not being exceptional in any way. Moving to the VHL, Molly the Cat had grand expectations and London United had elevated expectations for Molly the Cat. Molly was named captain of London United as a rookie, a position they took very seriously but did not feel prepared for. Molly the Cat took every opportunity to learn from the veteran players on the team, Zaza Colors, Jerome Reinhart, Ivan Retislov and others. Using everything that Molly the Cat learned they put together an exceptional season and won the Rookie of the Year award. Now Molly the Cat enters their second VHL season, no longer being a rookie but as a veteran of the team, a role model to those who follow. Molly the Cat hopes to also be a role model to the team's veterans by showing passion, training dedication and being a positive locker room presence. Molly the Cat is dedicated to making their veteran presence one of leadership. Leadership in Character – Molly the Cat wants to be known as a hard hitting, tough forward presence on the ice but off the ice Molly the Cat wants to be known as compassionate and generous. Molly is doing this by starting the Litter Box charitable foundation which was announced earlier this week (see media spot for details) The logo for this new charity is being revealed as part of this article and is being released on pucks as souvenirs to be given to all fans at home games Leadership in training dedication – Molly the Cat has had an almost perfect TPE acquisition schedule and plans to continue the process of being a max earning player. Molly the Cat believes that leadership is done first by leading by example, then through words. Leadership through humility – Molly the Cat strives to be a leader who is humble, as such Molly the Cat at management’s request has accepted the position of second line winger in hopes to create two strong forward lines instead of one exceptional line. Leadership off the ice – Molly the Cat strives to be a positive influence in the locker room, building up fellow players and encouraging everyone to do the best they can. Molly the Cat also strives to provide uplifting and community focused interviews with the media. Leadership in Performance – Molly the Cat was named London United’s Captain early and through hard work added a nomination to the Rookie All Star Team and Rookie of The Year award. But Molly the Cap does not plan to stop there. Molly the Cat will continue to strive for hockey excellence, to strive for a championship to come to London. jacobcarson877 and Dil 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/129976-molly-the-cat-veteran-presence/ Share on other sites
