"..and the Bears escape the first period with a 2-1 lead on the Calgary Wranglers, before we send it to the analyst desk we have Johnny Smith standing by with Tavish DeGroot, Johnny."

 

The feed switches to a very sweaty DeGroot towering over tiny SportsWorld host Johnny Smith.

 

Smith: "Tavish, 26 shots against in the first period and Dusty finally lets one through after almost 7 whole periods. How does having a hot goalie like that inspire the team?"

 

DeGroot: "Yeah it's awesome to have a goalie battling for you as hard as he is. Really fires the team up and makes us want to go to war with him. Can't be giving away as much penalties as we did though"

 

Smith: "The broadcast mentioned how Dusty likes to direct the plays before those defensive zone faceoffs, what's he saying then?"

 

DeGroot: "He's such a smart guy he kinda reads the opponents well for us. I'm not really known for my thinking so it's good to be on the ice with him and Sakamoto for the kills."

 

Smith: "Thanks Tavish"

 

DeGroot: "Thank you."
