Vancouver Wolves Struggling With Consistency

After losing to the eventual Continental Cup Champion D.C. Dragons in 7 games last season, Season 86 has not been kind to the Vancouver Wolves. Many members predicted the team would lead the North American Conference or even the VHL as a whole. At the half way mark of the season Vancouver continues struggling to find consistency. Often winning just as many as they lose. Even after trading for Donny Carter to improve the offense, the Wolves are still having a difficult time finding the back of the net consistently enough to separate them from the pack so to speak. Their biggest issue this season has been their game to game consistency. If the offense is going one night then the defense takes the night off and vice versa. It's lead to a lot of losses in regulation where Vancouver can't seem to find the extra points the other teams are getting on a nightly basis. The New York Americans currently are tied with Vancouver for the final wild car spot and 4 points separate both teams from 3 seed in the conference. I don't think I've ever seen so much parity in one conference
