Kenny "The Crow" Ramiran's Biography

Kenny was born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, in 2005, being the oldest of 3 kids from Michael Ramiran and Elissa Ramiran. He was disliked by some of his classmates for being the only one not interested in soccer (Y'know, the sport that's always been the rage in his country?). When he was in 5th grade, his city suddenly got a...hockey league?! Well, a roller hockey club, but it was still met with confusion from the locals. A few years ago, Brazil decided to make hockey a more popular sport in the country, but thought it would be too expensive to have ice rinks in such a hot place like Brazil, so they settled with roller hockey (Must be why Kenny got a little skeptical when he saw the gloves the goalies in ice hockey used). Now, the new league, called "Liga Roller-Craques" ("craque" means a good soccer player in brazilian soccer-slang), was racking up popularity around the city. Kenny ended up joining at first because he was the only one of the class that wasn't really in a sports club of some kind, and it sounded pretty interesting, aside from the somehow allowed body-checking. He joined the "Crazy Crows" when he was in 6th grade. What he didn't know is that it would have changed his life forever.

 

Kenny wasn't really that good of a player in the beggining, as he never used roller blades or played any sort of game with a stick beforehand. Thankfully, with the help of his teammates who he bonded with, in 6 months he became...A pretty decent player, but at least he wasn't slipping every 15 seconds, right? He got pretty good later, even getting a "Playmaster" award for doing the most assists. His team was a pretty average team, only getting 3 cups in the start of their legacy. But that changed when Kenny was in 9th grade, when they finally got into "Liga Dourada" (Golden League) and they entered the "Wood Rash Cup". Despite how rough and sometimes crazy the teams were, they still were able to get to the finals, where they played against the Voracious Vultures, a team that was very strong, with the beefiest defenders, fastest forwards and sniper-level centers. After a game-winning goal Kenny scored in sudden death (this time they passed to him instead of the other way around!), they were able to take the Wood Rash Cup home, but apparently a scout came to watch Kenny. After the match, he revealed he was very impressed with Kenny's performance in the cup and offered him a shot to go international: A spot in a team from the VHL minor league! Kenny, with the approval from his teammates and coach, happily accepted...

 

At first, he was a player for the Philadelphia Reapers. Unfortunately, he wasn't really able to focus too much on his sport because he wanted to finish school. He eventually got released, but he held no hard feelings and kept contact with the GM. He got into the San Diego Marlins, becoming a friend of the GM, Jacob, who helped him get himself back into the game. Kenny was a pretty good player, even if he sometimes felt like he didn't do much to help out. It took him a while to stop being self concious about his skills. Thankfully, his training paid off, despite his initial hiccups from not being used to playing on ice instead of wood like he did back home. Now, he's a good player who's always looking forward to when he's gonna be out in the ice.

 

Nowadays, Kenny is a player for the Ottawa Lynx, a team he was traded for during the season. He is currently aiming to get into college, trying to improve in both passing and learning to "fend for himself"(AKA fighting) and hopefully be one of the players who helped Brazil be known in hockey history. Some day...Some day for sure, bird boy.
