Week in Review

With the season just underway, I'm happy to report that Ryuji Sakamoto is finally doing Sakamoto Things for the Seattle Bears. Just above a point per game pace with roughly 3 hits and 2 blocked shots per game. Add in the fact that the Bears are tied for the league's stingiest defense and I'm pleased with where we're at 6 games into Season 87.

It's been a tough week outside the VHL. I've had endless issues with my furnace, and I ended up getting something of a nasty cold, which started around 4 in the morning on Tuesday - at least I think it was Tuesday - while I was working on said furnace. I've been very low energy, to the point where this is the first time in Sakamoto's career that I claimed Welfare instead of writing a piece. I expect that will change for next week, however, because sick or not, I have too much shit to do.
