Keno 32
The DudeName: Keno Akara Birthplace: NigeriaAge: 16Height: 6'3Weight: 210 lb.Position: CenterArchetype: Offensive You rarely see a 9Ja hockey player, despite that, Keno Akara is one of the big expectances. He came to the US at 2 and quickly fell in love with the game, soon joining the VHLM with the 27th overall pick & now the VHLE with the 9th overall pick. Coming into the VHLM he struggled, but due to his ability to train, he quickly balanced himself. Now that he has moved up to the VHLE, he believes there's ways that he can still continue to improve, what exactly is that? Keno claims to try and be a scorer, it shows in the way he practices and honestly shows in the way he plays, but he continues to rack up more assists in stats rather than he does in goals, in his first 20 games in the VHLE he's already racked up 8 assists paired with 7 goals, but every single stat that he has right now has not come easy. Coming into the VHLE draft, he was told that the VHLE would be hard getting used to, some even suggested he should stay in the VHLM until he's ready to move-up to the VHL just due to the fact that he'd have to regain his balance in the VHLE again and it could possibly stunt his prospect growth. That was soon put to rest, he's not disappointed in his first few games and has been a pretty good contributor helping his team rack up wins along the way. From here on, I expect Keno to continue to improve, reportedly, he's planning on developing his scoring and center abilities even more throughout the season, hopefully down the stretch it translates to wins and even stats. Speaking of his team, Oslo Storm is currently sitting at #2 within the standings, they have been playing good hockey and have a real chance to make a championship run, Keno has reportedly really loved his time so far with the new team and especially his GM JB123. He fills in the team with things that are going on and congratulates individuals on their performances, Keno likes to be acknowledged and that's something great to him. Considering Keno is conflicted on whether to possibly move up to the VHL straight after this season or stay another, it's important for him and Storm to try their complete best to make a push towards the playoffs. Overall, Keno is continuing his development as a player, and we should see him doing some great things in the near future within the VHLE and soon after that we hope to see him doing great things in the VHL as well. jacobcarson877 and Spartan 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/132880-keno-akara-hello-europe/ Share on other sites
