Eagles picking up the scoring pace

This season, Henry Eagles, has been picking up his scoring pace and now sits at 22 goals in 43 games played. His all time goals scored was 29 last season and he is on pace to set a new career high in goals.

 

" I have been scoring well this season but it's still not where I would like to be" Henry said " I want to be in the leagues top 5 but I am still quite a bit off that pace, about 6-7 goals behind the number 5 guy"

 

Henry has set a target of 40 goals for this season and with only 29 games left to play he will have to get to work on popping the puck in the back of the net. 18 goals in 29 games doesn't seem that hard on paper but in reality is much more difficult.

 

" The goalies get better every year, the opposing team scouts you and has a good idea of your play style so it is harder to score the longer you are in the league " Henry continued " I do still have some tricks up my sleeve and we will see if I can hit that 18 number before the season ends"
