I like the render and background combination. The text I'm not crazy about but that's your design choice and you ran with it. I think one thing I would point out is the overall balance seems off. The render is on the right looking right. Seems it would work better if it was on the left looking right towards the text that you would have to move . Overall you have something interesting to look at. Good logo swap.
