Well the regular season is over and the playoffs are about to get underway. And what a season it was ! Let’s take a look at some things happening around the league as we make our way to playoffs.

Sirdsvaldis Leads the way !

@FrostBeard Sirdsvaldis Miglaskems led the LA Stars to a great season where the finished third in the NA conference which is a heck of a lot better then the season the had last year . Miglaskems finished the year leading the Stars in Goals and Points . Miglaskems also led the league in Goals as well . The Stars captain had an unreal season this year and looks to build off that and take his momentum into the playoffs on the Stars run.

EU Conference closer then ever.

The EU Conference this season has been closer then ever this year with the first place and seventh place team separated by only 11 points . It’s made for some exciting hockey down the stretch, In particular the 3rd and 6th place teams are separated by only 4 points.  It’s truly been anyones year in that conference this season and I believe any of the teams that made the playoffs could come out of the EU conference. Although It’s hard to go against Moscow as an early favourite.

Top Goalie race

Art Vandelay , Matt Murdock , and Brandt Fuhr are all in the conversation for Top Goaltender this year they rank top three in wins , their the top 3 in save % all posting a 0.931 which is incredible. GAA is also very close aswell . Vandelay and fuhr also share the lead in shutouts this year with 6 with Murdock right behind them with 4 of his own. All three of these tendies have had stellar seasons and are a huge part of each of their teams success, the award in my opinion could really go to any one of the three of them . LETS GO VANDELAY!! @Gustav ( I know I know I’m a little biased at the end there ). Good luck to each of you you all have made a great case this season to be named the top goalie this season.

Rookies Scoring down from last year

Sadie St Louis led the way in rookie scoring this year with 59 points . This years rookie class was a step down from the exciting S86 class where we nearly had 2 point per game scorers . That being this past years class of Rookies looks to be promising . And we all will have to keep tabs on them in the coming seasons to see where some of these promising young stars will end up !

Oslo finishes Strong.

The Oslo Storm fought and traded places with the Cologne Express for the first 3/4 of the season . They went back and forth between 1st and 2nd place in the the VHLE. Then the last 1/4 came and Oslo could not for the life of them get consistent sims they found them selves as low as 4th place losing games and falling in the standings. However they did manage to finish strong and snag a 2nd place finish . They will look to carry the strong play of late into the playoffs . And we all know Oslo always brings it come playoffs time !

There you have it folks that’s my last ramble session of the regular season . Stay tuned for more rambling near week !
