Game Recap (Game 70): This matchup between the Vancouver Wolves and Calgary Wranglers was a thriller from start to finish. With 5 unique goal scorers and 7 goals, these teams exchanged scoring throughout the entire game with each team with a goal per period. They were deadlocked at 3-3 until the 12:20 mark where the Wolves capitalized on a power play due to a costly slashing penalty by Calgary’s Oskar Lindbergh. Reigning Sterling Labatte winner Pierre Emile Bouchard buried the puck in the back of the net with helpers from Henry Eagles and Dogwood Maple, turning the tide to their favor and ultimately winning the game 4-3, despite being outshot 35-21. It was a scrappy matchup and both teams left it all on the ice!
