An Unexpected Start

Well, I thought Helsinki would be competing for a spot in the playoffs but this hot start was even faster than expected. Helsinki is off to a 11-5-1 through 17 games, just two wins shy of our last seasons total wins and already a win beyond our last seasons ROW. There are week spots for us but all in all its going well since we're sitting middle of the pack at 8th on PK% and even better at 5th for PP%. The concerning part of that would be being third in the league in PIMS.

I'm proud of this team and the roster as we are charging up the standings and will be aiming for higher than a wildcard spot at this point. All our newly acquired players are playing great as Godlander, Fire and Probert are all in the top 5 for team points while our younger folks of Kardashian and Dixon also crack that. Super excited to see how these players stand up over the course of the season.
