It is a down year for Brendan Marner, he has 24 points in 21 games, this brings him well off the leaderboard for the most points in the league. With 11 goals as another complement, it helps, but he is still not a top goal scorer either. This is a real change from last season, but well take the heat for now. The team is doing very good defensively, but really lacking offensively, the team is showing different colors than last season, but getting the same result. They need to somehow take up their scoring but keep the defense good. I am not sure why the team is doing so poor a quarter of the way through the season, but look at what’s working, and what needs to improve and you can get the recipe for success. The goaltending is looking like what will push them into the playoffs right now.
